The Boss Who Blatantly Shows Favoritism 3

I've been torn on this one...

in my experience, yes it sucks but what bothers me even more are the suck-ups who would do anything to get their nose farther up the boss' ass for just an extra ounce of attention.

There are a few bosses stupid enough to demoralize their team, but for the most part a smart boss is almost always going to favor a productive worker, whatever the product is.

Most of the whining I hear about this (In real life, not on RIA. I make no judgements about any reviewer's personal experience.)comes from people who think they are being unfairly treated for being reprimanded for being unproductive.

I am usually the productive one.  But, I seem to keep getting hooked up with bosses who are friends with their favorite and I get passed over and left out of the loop.  Part of the reason I lost my last job was due to this.

What shite. . .I show favoritism. . .get the job done right? Meet deadlines? Never give excuses? I treat that employee better. Treat people as individuals because that's what they are.

this is probably everywhere. it is especially unfair when the boss is clearly friends with this person and they get away with murder when another employee would get written up. seen this many times. some people have no business being a boss.

Are these everywhere, or is it my jaded imagination?
