 | fitman (36) 05/15/2008 | The key word here is, "all".
Republican policies are cold hearted and cruel, but many nice, good-hearted Republicans honestly seem to believe God's Own Party is the only hope to save us from the Gay Agender or something like that...

 | SuKingsANDKnights300 (14) 05/14/2008 | If they are cold-hearted towards unfortunate people, they will likely find them more aggressively cold-hearted towards them too. Eye with eye..remember that?...this is a world of tit-for-tat, and it's likely that way. If it's me Homer the guy, there are ways to skin the cats! ..or catch the cats in the day, and skin them publicly while the mice watch. Yes they do it....I can't deny that either.

 | MissPackRat4Jesus (38) 01/11/2008 | I have a good friend who is Republican who is the complete opposite. She is always thinking of others before herself. A very kind and caring person.

 | SZinHonshu (44) 11/27/2007 | I'm sure this is the position of Dennis Kucinich, Barbara Boxer, Cynthia McKinney and other wastes of space occupying some of our nation's elected offices

UPDATE: Speaking of Marines, you should all stop by my page and see what I looked like in uniform.

 | callitdowntheline75 (53) 03/21/2007 | Since most of my family is in the medical field, I know a lot of doctors, nurses, and other medical/emergency personnel who just happen to be Republicans. And they will all tell you the same thing: "It doesn't matter if they are rich or poor, black or white, straight or gay, or (God forbid for some) Democrats or Republicans; anyone in trouble, or in some unfortunate situation will always need our help...and it is our duty, regardless of what they believe, to help them out!" MOST people, regardless of their own political affiliation, will help other people out, when they are in need. All Republicans are cold-hearted toward unfortunate people? Only if you have blinders in front of you. There are just as many cold-hearted people who are Democrats. The people who actually believe Republicans are cold-hearted towards the unfortunate ought to grow up for once.

 | pugwash01 (15) 03/21/2007 | History may show that!!! But I'm sure there are people in the Republican Party, that hate their past and what people perceive them to be. I honestly think there are good people in Politics, but unfortunately there are many that are bad! I agree with AutzenMaven and many others in their comments/reviews. Bad assumption/thought!

 | Randyman (103) 03/21/2007 | Another fallacy without any merit. Republicans are no more, or no less prone to being cold hearted (or warm hearted forthat matter) than Democrats. Sadly, that is the perception and it's been an uphill battle to prove otherwise. This is probably the number one reason that much of America (and the world) were so quick to place blame on Bush, and by association, the Repulican party, after hurricane Katrina.

 | bri719 (9) 03/21/2007 | this is silly. I identify as Republican donate time and money to more causes than most people I know including many bleeding-heart liberals

 | SpartanPride (21) 03/20/2007 | Oww come on, seriously now. What the heck, when the I picked up the news the day the Republicans won the majority, (It was still big news here in Canada) I went, "yes!" I would vote for the Republicans, and I donate a lot to the poor, lots of used clothes. So this is just a stupid question.

 | GenghisTheHun (168) 03/20/2007 | Does this mean that Republicans disparage those poor folks that had the losing lottery tickets? They are definitely unfortunate. What has Bob Dole or John McCain said about these poor souls?

 | CanadaSucks (45) 03/20/2007 | Stupid listing meant to fan the flames of hyper-sensitive repubs. . .'lack of compassion' isn't germane to a particular political dogma. . .

 | Donovan (130) 03/20/2007 | Your party preference has nothing to do with your compassion
towards others but your compassion should affect how you vote on certain
issues.

 | SweetDee (5) 03/20/2007 | I've been both democrat and recently Republican(Conservative), and from my experience and observation, I see the democrats as people who want to feed people daily, and the Republicans as people who want to teach people to feed themselves, democrats as people who want to keep training wheels on a child's bike, and Republicans as folks who want to teach the child to ride without them.
