Let's just say it's true more often than not. On one hand you have the quiet little mouse that snaps, and on the other hand you have that quiet guy that can take care of himself and knows it. There is no need for noise. Be careful where you go looking for trouble

When I was very young I was shy and very quiet. Once I got my nerve up I started joking around and then... yes, beware because Donovan was in the house. The only problem is people didn't always laugh, then I got shy again. Very sad isn't it? :( Now that I'm older I have really come out of my shell. I enjoy people and love to have fun. Sometimes quiet people are misunderstood as being stuck up when really they're just "quiet". There is nothing wrong with thinking before speaking and sometimes not speaking at all. In fact I would recommend it.So did I dance all around this topic with my review? Maybe, but this is what was on my quiet mind.

Not always true, but quite often it is. I look at this statement more as a warning more than an assumption.

Mostly, it is true. He who listens a lot, learns a lot, hence knows a lot. If you are not aware of it, you might get in trouble or embarrassed when he starts speaking.

Some people are quiet merely because they're shy... simple as that. And that's not really such a bad thing, is it? I hardly think so. Plus, quieter people more than likely tend to be good listeners... or deep thinkers... or dreamers. Or perhaps all three.

I used to be real quiet and everyone used to be scared of me...just because they're quiet doesnt mean they're gonna snap at any second.

I have found this to be true of a lot of people I know. Hence the saying, "it's always the quiet ones". HAHA

I personally think this is very unfair. Sometimes people are just quiet, and it doesn't always mean that there's anything wrong with them. Maybe it just means they're better listeners.

Not always, yawns.....

To debate a cliche with another one: Its better to be quiet and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.

Some people do indeed stay quiet because they are trying to manipulate a situation in the background. Those are the ones you have to indeed watch out for. Judge them based strictly on their actions. But some quiet people are simply judicious with their words. No one ever listens to a person who talks a lot. Big talkers usually say a lot of words because they want attention or because they want to look smart. Only speak when you have something important or insightful to say; people will listen to you and appreciate your words much more.

Its true. I could kill you without a second thought. heh.
Update: I'm only kidding, I am just shy, I am afraid of talking to people because they might not like me etc etc.

50/50. Sometime when someone's quiet, they just don't have anything to say, or just listening. Then there are times when us quiet ones are plotting something!
