The way this is phrased kind of makes me think of a dragon with John Hagee's face, which leads me to a further point- that dragon is in serious need of Jenny Craig. And yes, the majority of these evangelists are scoundrels, and not a few of them are in dire need of 21st century concepts of broad based tolerance and not 17th century notions.

These guys give Christians a bad name! They are not helping to win souls, they're helping themselves and no matter what your belief is, my belief is they'll have to answer for it. Our country is in a tough position (as are many others) and what are they doing to help others? The temple must be cleaned up (and these guys, too!).

This does upset me greatly as I know that there are some TV evangelists who do this, and it's a shame because, not in all cases, but some people have a tendency to label all preachers that way because of some rotten apples, which incidentally they won't get away with their greed because there is a Judgment Day!

I think they should be dealt with like the conscienceless con artists most of them are. And the sooner the better.

Maybe we should tax them in to submission like Congress is doing to the AIG people...

You have that right.

This one may top the list for me. I know someone will say "if you don't like them, ignore them"; but consider the millions (if not billions) these people have taken in over the years. The US is the wealthiest, most prosperous nation in human history, but we still have people- most importantly children- who are poor, hungry, abused, depressed, alone, etc. I wonder if some of that televangelist-cash-cow-money might have been better spent on them.
