I think this is disgusting. Even if a person has a sudden cough or sneeze and they don't feel they have enough time to cover their mouth, they can always turn their head away.

I'm not the most fastidious of guys, but this bugs me. Maybe we could go back to the medieval practice of having lepers (and in this case people who do this) have to ring a bell as they walk on the street to warn all comers.

This shows complete lack of consideration for other people

This one really takes the cake. You see it all the time too. It's like they're brain dead. Just as bad, or maybe worse, and more common with men, is when they sneeze on their hand just prior to a hand shake, and then extend their hand. As if I would touch it.
