pray for my grandson please

I'm not one of the special people that have a personal satellite connection to God. I think any such prayers would have to be conducted amongst a hundred thousand nuns and the absence of any metal for when the lightning starts to slam to the earth. I usually try to commune with the Big Guy prior to crisis and my "Oh god, oh please god, oh god, noo... please... doh! I swear to God, God, that if you just..." don't typically work out very well.

I know I can take anything to God in prayer.  He always has a listening ear; that brings me Great comfort.

You will be surpsied, even the most non-religious person in a time of crisis would get on their knees and pray.  A singer once said "Momma used to say, get on your knees and pray and everything will be alright".

I prayed for one of the triplets in the Playboy issue about fifteen years ago. . .still waiting and starting to lose my faith in the almighty. . .my wife just hit my right hand with the cordless phone. . .

Many people turn to God when all else fails, they try everything else first and God last. Does God get mad, seek revenge or deny your request? No, he loves you just the same and has been waiting for you to ask for his help. Will you get everything you ask for? No, but he will supply your needs if you put your trust in him. I do turn to God in times of crisis and times where I just need a friend.  

The interesting thing about this choice is you don't have to be a strong believer to use it.  Answers have a way of coming when you put your mind in "praying" mode.  Usually the answer is to do the thing you fear most.  That's the way it is in life.  Avoid it, and you'll only fear it more the next time.

Tough because this is never an easy answer. Sometimes the answer is revealed only to the soul and not the mind- that can make it seem even tougher. But, overall, the best in my opinion.

I talk to God all the time and feel very blessed to have his presence in my life. He has been kind to me and I always felt loved by him. I turn to God all the time when I am happy or sad, depressed or exilirated, lost or blessed. Thank you!
