And typically the contributions from Lennon and McCartney show off the nature of each's personality. McCartney's portion a pleading for love, "I've got a feeling, a feeling deep inside/I've got a feeling, a feeling I can't hide". Lennon's a snide bit of witty cynicism "Everybody had a hard year/Everybody had a good time/Everybody had a wet dream/Everybody saw the sunshine."

I actually prefer the McCartney part to the Lennon section of the song, not that that's bad...very strong singing from McCartney, and good guitar work too. Not one of their greatest songs, but then again, for some groups this would be their best song
