When I get the time, you can't beat the Age of Empires III series!

I was a mild to moderate video game fan from Pacman days until around Sega Genesis days. I then totally lost interest as an adult... until I met my husband. He is a huge gamer and we have most systems as well as hundreds of games. I'm now really into World of Warcraft and any Final Fantasy type of games.

Nah.I'm safely on the other side of THAT generation gap.

To be very honest and you may only hear me say this once, video games used to be my guilty pleasure, but lately I really wonder.

It all started the day I watched my friend played Mario Brothers, and it felt like a cave man seeing a space shuttle. My interest was immense ever since. Then I discovered the ever so addictive strategy games. I had never been able to stay up all night studying for my final exams since the first year of university, but I was able to stay up beating my games in multiple nights. My late discovery of the RPG games have taken my life away from me one step further. I've come to a point that I have problem letting go any of the promising RPG titles ever made into the market. My shelf is so full of them and I only get more and more lagged behind in catching up to the latest games being released. I get stressed out just trying to decide what the next game it will be for me, since I should be playing them all... playing them all right now. Then there comes my latest belief that playing video games has become one of the purposes in my whole life, because I'm afraid of becoming this old fart one day that cannot understand what my grandsons are talking about. To stay sharp I've told my friends, is why I will be playing video games all my life. I just hope that this ambition will not stop me from enjoying my life, although lately I really started to wonder.

Especially Pac Man and Donkey Kong.

It is all about improving hand-eye coordination and keeping your mind sharp. Oh at least that's what I tell people.

A select few games, but I couldn't sit for a whole day playing one. I play on occasion and that's about it.
