As of now, a comment thread can be built to 10 comments.

Yeah, they did this awhile back and I was a big reason why. I think we've since popped over 100 comments on a review...

There is no fixed limit to the number of comments that can be posted on a review, although there may be practical limits.  But it's a lot more than 10.

Actually, Ridge, it looks like this is already in place. I just checked a couple, and found over 40 on one of them.
