Bill is one of those actors who are so full of themselves yet have very little actual talent. Sure, he was Captain Kirk and T.J. Hooker but I don't think many actors are cheesier. He also seems quite a bitter person really.

A William Shatner sighting is always pure pleasure. Whether as a short, fat has-been on the streets of New York, in a Priceline commercial, or performing contemporary music in spoken word form, I will never grow tired of him. He's cheesy egotistical hack with no pretense!

Can't act.  Can't sing.  Can't play the guitar.  But he's pure cheese and absolutely one of CS's most dreadful pleasures.  Henry Rollins delivers one of the funniest stories of having dinner with Shatner (who seems to be a nice guy in real life.)  This is an underrated listing.

I get the feeling that William Shatner is even a guilty pleasure for William Shatner.

He...can be...pretty.....fun....at times!

I just watched the Comedy Central Roast of the Shat on DVD a couple hours ago.
