michael landon played wonderful and memorable roles and Charles Ingalls will be his most remembered. He was the kind of husband and father and friend anyone would want.

Charles was a hard-working family man who raised his children with values, with the help of his devoted wife Caroline. A great television portrayal of the way families should be.

He was my favorite character on "Little House". I was in my twenties when this show was on television, and I would usually get teased by friends and or coworkers, who usually thought the show was too smarmy and much too unrealistic and not a "Guys" TV show.. Unrealistic or not, Charles Ingall's character was one to be emulated. He seemed to embody the ideals that I strived for in my own life at that time. Here was a husband and father that gave his all for his family, always working, always looking for a way to make things better for his wife and kids. He wasn't afraid to show his faith in God either.

First of all I would like to say that Michael Landon is one of the greatest actors ever, and his character Charles Ingalls was a fantastic role.
