He may have looked wimpy to some, but any person who was able to work a miraculous change in the likes of Nellie Oleson, in my book, is no wimp. He and Nellie were an unlikely couple, but ultimately were good for one another.

a 3.5. when I first saw Percival I thought geez bet he got beat up on a regular basis. then we find he is no sissy. he can hold his own. I liked how he did a "taming of the shrew" on Nellie. she became a better person thanks to Percival. {probably had to learn to stand up for himself with a name like Percival} not a favorite character but got to give him credit for not taking Nellie's crap. they went on the marry and have twins.

I love Percival....he brought out in Nellie what her mother never wanted and what her father prayed for....her best side
