I tried it only because it's dirt cheap for how much they give you, really it's dirt cheap for any quntity. Low tracking and the odor control was ok, not bad, but not great (worked better when I switched from Nutro indoor cat food to Science Diet sensitive stomach, which I highly recommend, by the way). The clumping is terrible, it's very difficult to clean the box when you have to scoop 100 small pieces, as opposed to one big one. Spend the extra money and get something better, anything.

The litter boxes rarely smell bad! The litter does have a strong scent to it, and the baking soda neutrolizes smells. But it is a multiple cat formula designed to keep them happy and for that you need to neutrolize the odors. The clumps tend to stay together when scoooped out, unless they are not fully dry. For that reason it works best when using uncovered litter pans. The actual litter is fine, almost like a sand, and doesn't seem to be scratching the hard wood floors that much.
