It's a very gritty, kick ass film, plus Mickey Rourke is awesome in this film.

I've seen this about five times, and my feelings about it have declined with each viewing. I've gone from thinking it a pretty good film, to a totally ambivalent attitude.

Much of its ambience and effect starts to pall with repeated viewings, which doesn't speak well for a cult movie.
