One of the greats of his era but not quite at the level of a Bobby Orr or even a Paul Coffey. He did contribute to a solid performing Rangers squad in the early 70's that had the bad luck of playing in an era dominated by All-Time Great Franchises in both Boston and Montreal.

A very solid, offensive defenseman, and one of the best of his era. Had the misfortune to play the bulk of his career in the shadow of the legendary Bobby Orr.
