I'm sure I heard this daily, and sometimes STILL hear it :) I'm organized only in other rooms, my bedroom is a mess but I'm the only one who really has to look at it so I'm not bothered.

When I was young my room DID look like that but now I can't stand to see anything out of place because I've become somewhat anal.

I am naturally a clean freak and I like things organized and compartmentalized. I do have my moments, but over all, my mom was really proud that I was so disciplined.

My mother used "flood" or "hurricane" or when she was thoroughly pissed "the four horsemen of the Apocalypse"

Always good to get a little religious instruction at home.

I think I told my mom, once, that we didn't live in Oklahoma anymore. I got "the look" for that one.

Boy, did I hear this saying all the time. I had some younger brothers and they were bad, but my sisters were the worst for messy rooms.
