I have severe allergies, and decided I wanted to try something different than Benedryl. And I bought some Zyrtec today, and all I can say is, so far, so good. It does say that it may cause drowsiness, but it hasn't affected me in that way. That's my problem with Benedryl. It works, but I'm tired of the effects of it making me drowsy.

Never tried it, I usually take claritin but I have heard great things about zyrtec

Zyrtec is incredible. I went from being nearly blinded by allergies from my friend's cat, to being totally normal in about 20 minutes. It seemed to last for about 24 hours. I didn't notice any side effects: drowsiness, jitteriness, etc.

I take it everyday (or almost everyday) as an allergy medicine and it works great.

I took this a few years ago for severe allergy symptoms, and I was quite pleased.
