06/15/2008 | I had no idea who this guy was... until I saw him in concert!!! Simply amazing. He is a great guitar player, but needs to work on his song writing ability, some times it just lacks a spark. I still hold him in high regard even though when I tell someone about him, they have a clueless look on their face...

02/29/2008 | Technically a very fine player and has a real command of feel as well as the pyrotechnics. Trouble is there's something a bit unexciting about his music and he clearly wears his Led Zep influences on his arm. Saying that, he's a far superior player to Page but not quite on a par a with SRV.

07/02/2007 | I got turned onto Joe in January of 2007. I own everything he has produced to date and still can't get enough. Don't Burn Down that Bridge on the New Day Yesterday Live(DVD) is an absolute monster of a song...just one of many. I've turned on friends of mine between January and May with 14 of us travelling from St. Louis to Chicago to see him live. I will not miss another one of his shows when he comes through St. Louis.

05/15/2007 | Joe Bonamassa is a player that makes you smile when you think of who's younger that will carry the torch of classic blues players. To me he and Derek Trucks are who we need to follow for graceful excellent playing. "Tea For One" from the "You and Me" record is such a great track, for me it surpasses the original Zeppelin version and there are really no other people I could say that about covering a Zeppelin song. Play on Joe!

04/30/2007 | How was it possible up until a short while ago for a player as gifted as Joe Bonamassa not to be included in the top 209 best guitarists of all time.?? Joe is without a doubt the "real deal". An incredibly gifted player who, in my opinion, is the future of blues guitar and at the ripe "old" age of 30 has been playing since the age of 4 and shared the stage with the likes of BB King and John Lee Hooker. In my opinion, he already deserves to be talked about in the very same sentence as guys like Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton.
