 | MaxHeadroom (0) 04/27/2007 | Some time ago, I bought a Lite-On DVD recorder. For a week or so, it worked okay (not great). Then the trouble started: Bad burns, ruined disks, freeze-ups, shut-downs, hidden defects and more!
When I wrote to complain, Light-On admitted having problems with my model (LVW 5007), saying that mine were not the first complaints they'd had with this model. They promised to replace it with a better model. I was satisfied. Then....
They just changed their minds, and left me twisting in the wind! They didn't even TELL me they changed their minds. I had to call them back, myself, to find out.
When I wrote to complain about this treatment, they simply ignored me. They're still ignoring me, but I haven't gone away.
