It is not adviseable to go to the zoo, when the weather is not so great. The animals, a large number of them do not get to come out, when the weather is too cold or rainy.

So you may be stuck with seeing two to three exhibits out of the whole lot if you catch the zoo on a bad day.

Other than that, the zoo is well constructed, with paths that lead you into the themed areas like the continents.

Zoo Atlanta has made a lot of extensive changes in the past year! It is well worth the money if you remind yourself that it is a non-profit organization, and they are part of great conservation and education efforts across the world! Well worth the visit ... ride the train, climb the rock wall, visit the petting zoo section, see the pandas, and enjoy the beautiful foliage!

Extremely overpriced for what you see. Not many animals. The Pandas are the best. Seems understaffed and the staff they have seem unhappy to be there.

I do not like this zoo. The only thing it has going for it is the Pandas.

A few years ago, they made major improvements to the Atlanta zoo. The focus was making the animal environments more open and natural, and I think they succeeded. This is not a world-class zoo, but it's worth a visit.

It seems as though the number of animals and the total area of the zoo is decreasing. It won't be long until it will officially be the Atlanta petting spot. Michael Jackson has a larger variety!!

Zoo Atlanta could use a better variety of animals.
