this can be hit or miss. sometimes there have been some nice finds on clearance. the bad part is you cannot take a clearance item back if you do not like it, so you are stuck with it. I do not feel all that insulted if someone gets me something on clearance. they may be on a fixed income and doing the best they can do with what they have.I have bought clearance items for myself spouse and kids, I show it to them of course, you can get some pretty nice things in clothing and others. I probably would not volunteer it if I buy it as a gift for someone. since some would consider this a cheapskate present..
