Not much of a talent, although he must have had something going for him, since he stuck around in the Show for over a decade.

 | oscargamblesfro (76) 04/30/2007 | Hard to believe this fellow was the top pick in the country, just goes to show how much of a gamble the baseball draft was and is. Foli was a shortstop of ordinary ability who nevertheless had a pretty long career with several clubs, including the '79 champs in Pittsburgh, he was a scrappy, hard nosed type who hustled.
