04/30/2007 | Can't add much to what oscar says. The guy had incredible power, once hitting four dingers in a game to tie the major league record (held by several)
Had the misfortune to play for the Braves before they got good, and faded out of the league, finishing his career in Japan.

04/30/2007 | Horner was an amazing college player at Arizona or Arizona State, I forget which. He arrived in the majors not long after being drafted, and tore up the N.L. He won the Rookie of the Year award even though he didn't begin in the big leagues until July. Horner had power, and indeed had some good years with The Braves, but had a reputation, deserved or not, as a rather slothful player, and had a somewhat disappointing and brief career.
