Moore had, if memory serves, one good year with Seattle, a terrible team at the time, before going to Oakland in the late 80's. With the great pitcher's park and a powerhouse behind him, Moore's numbers predictably became better in a hurry, and he won 19 games in '89 plus 2 games in their 4 game sweep of the Giants. Moore later played for the Tigers, with a great hitting park instead- and a team that, aside from having some bashers, wasn't very good- and his numbers went south quickly, he had some dreadful years there. Moore certainly had talent, but also some rotten seasons. Moore played for Oral Roberts University, but apparently didn't face a 900 foot Jesus.
