04/30/2007 | Taylor was a high school kid that the Yankees gave a big ( at the time) bonus to. He never made it out of the minors, had injury problems and off field shenanigans, and is one of the few really big #1 busts in the history of the baseball draft. Most #1 picks at least made it to the majors even if only for a short time, but Taylor and Chilcott didn't even appear in a single game.
