Erstad's an old school player who runs hard and hustles, though he's past his prime now. His biggest weakness is that he doesn't walk much and had some seasons with a fair amount of whiffs. He had a great career year in 2000 with 240 hits, 25 homers, 100 RBI's, a .355 average, and 28 steals. That was far and away his best year, though he's been productive in other seasons. A fine fielder who won 2 Gold Gloves in the outfield and 1 playing first base. He's just an ordinary player now, but certainly not a bust with this pick for the team who drafted him.
