04/30/2007 | In 1987 or so, Joel toured Russia and put out a double live album. There was also an HBO special that I would like to take this opportunity to apologize to myself for actually watching some of. This wasn't as bad as a lot of his own tunes were and I guess this song for some reason wasn't much of a shock to see him do. There was a great hamfisted/ corny Joel moment: it seemed very contrived and ludicrous when he yelled at the Russians to keep the lights on during his performance of this Beach Boys/ Chuck Berry inspired track.
