My dear mother would use this whenever she was exasperated and angry at the same time. It was like she was too angry or upset to try and explain things...better to wait til things cooled down a bit. Also to remind me she was the mom I was the kid

Yea, my mom could be pretty impatient at times; we knew not to push anymore buttons when she resorted to saying this alone.
