An aging De La Hoya didn't have many answers for the rusty Mayweather, which made for a lackluster fight.

In his prime I feel Oscar would have won a fight with Mayweather.

A good fight between two proud champions, and two good men.

Mayweather won, in my opinion because he fought the fight he had to. Staying out of trouble, landing punches when he could, and dancing out of trouble. De La Hoya caught him a few times, and caught him hard, but never quite got the job done.

The final round, with both fighters going toe to toe, both knowing the decision would be close, exchanging punches as the crowd roared, was one of the best moments I've seen in boxing in the last 5 years.
