The concept of man made androids, so perfect that is is impossible to distinguish from the real people is the main story in this movie. will we ever get there? Perhaps the tampering with cloning is a first step, but is it wise? Or safe? will we see special cop forces hunting down and kill them in cold blood? "Time to die!" I wonder who's time will it be.

This creepy, morally ambivalent tale of an unpleasant future is probably my favorite Sci-Fi film.

Way ahead of its time in presenting a future distopia of physical and moral decay.  While the fairly straight ahead film noire reinterpretation of the story strays quite a bit from the Phillip Dick novel, it stands up very well on its own as an ambiguously cautionary tale about the future of humanity.
