A gringo who hates Chile or is so surprised Chile does not fit into his third-world country image, that he does everything he can to convince himself that Chile is actually third-world.

I think you should try and write more positive things in your blog. I'd love to learn the good things about Chile as well.

I don't like to go on a long list and sucking somebody's dick, but I think your blog is those kind that makes you came back and read what tha fuck happends next. Besides, I suck at writing as you can read, but anyways you have put my opinion out there.

Hateful vitriol? Far from it! your writing style is a start-stop razor sharp attention grabbing bonanza emblazoned with tasteful diction and enough specific references to establish what we in america know as "street cred"

I will be studying in Valparaiso next year and will continue reading this blog until I go for its engaging balance of overblown dramatic flare and no-nonsense journalism.

I'm a rising junior at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, and I will be studying abroad in Santiago de Chile starting in July. I've been searching for insight on the city and the country, and by far, this blog has been a lifesaver. I was tired of the Wikipedias, Lonely Planets and picture blogs that only gave me generic, simplified facts that are of no use to me. Thanks a lot, and keep up the good work.

Ignorant, naive and completely closed minded. Will only consider one side of things, his. Tries to be funny by mocking everything chilean with no intention of adding value. After reading his postings, one wonders why he still lives in Chile and doesn't move to Argentina (which he loves)
