06/21/2007 | Hateful vitriol? Far from it! your writing style is a start-stop razor sharp attention grabbing bonanza emblazoned with tasteful diction and enough specific references to establish what we in america know as "street cred"
I will be studying in Valparaiso next year and will continue reading this blog until I go for its engaging balance of overblown dramatic flare and no-nonsense journalism.

06/17/2007 | I'm a rising junior at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, and I will be studying abroad in Santiago de Chile starting in July. I've been searching for insight on the city and the country, and by far, this blog has been a lifesaver. I was tired of the Wikipedias, Lonely Planets and picture blogs that only gave me generic, simplified facts that are of no use to me. Thanks a lot, and keep up the good work.

After reading his postings, one wonders why he still lives in Chile and doesn't move to Argentina (which he loves)
