One year after all these reveiws The freeways have gotten quite a bit better but the people have not. People love to go 45 down the freeway or 25 down baseline when the speed limits 45

I just drive a brown car...it's almost like stealth mode around there.

My inlaws snowbird near here, and when I visit, driving feels like I've stumbled onto the set of a Mad Max sequel.

I have never been to Phoenix myself. I can only go by what others have said. I knew a gal who moved to Phoenix and lived their briefly. the reason for leaving right away was the traffic. she said she could not take how awful the traffic was in Phoenix. she mentioned that it was nothing to be stuck at a red light in rush hour for seven or eight light changes.{ hey I would be peeved if I had to wait through two light cycles} she said it was too bad because otherwise Phoenix had so many wonderful things about it. but the traffic caused her to leave. must be pretty bad.

I heard this on 98KUPD this morning. I'm not too surprised with Phoenix being this high. With the freeway system that is behind the times, that isn't even finished yet, and that they are just now putting in a light rail system, which the main line won't be finished until Dec. 2008, no wonder people around here are pissed off when they are driving.

BTW, my fellow Phoenicains, The Light Rail System has at least 4 extenstions planned, 2 of which will be going down I-10 and SR 51. With that, we are on our way to being #1 on this list!!!!

Figures that we end up high on the list. Phoenix drivers are a mix of idiots and assholes from all over the country. To top it off our roads suck and all the freeways are under construction and WAY behind schedule on that construction.
