I hate these two. Leave it to love to screw up the galaxy... 

UPDATE: I guess I'm not alone here. As it stands right now they are the most hated couple in the universe, being considered even worse than Neo and Trinity.

She's a pretty queen, and he's a whiny little brat. How'd that happen?  Did he have any redeeming qualities?   And there's this big age gap in the first movie . . . after looking it up, she was supposed to be 14 and he was supposed to be 9, but at that age that's a pretty big gap and kinda creepy.  She could've done a lot better.

I could never figure out what she saw in that spoiled poutty teenager.  And he was all the more intolerable once he bought into that line about being the chosen one and all that crap about bringing balance to the force.  But I guess some girls are attracted to the brooding bad boys.

Made for each other because they're a matched pair of whiners.
