I took a port call in Thailand and it was very cool. Its a lively place and you can live like a king on a couple bucks a day. Try the food. Try all of it that isn't bugs, even the scary spicy stuff...

There is much for you to discover in Thailand. The country offers a huge range of new experiences in sights, sounds, tastes, and outlook. But different as it may be from your home, Thailand is probably the easiest exotic country for visitors. The people are friendly, leisure activities are well organized, the food is great and you receive excellent value for money.

If you can stand the heat and protect yourself from the pickpockets, Thailand is a great place to spend a week or two in Asia. . .wonderful beaches, terrific food, friendly locals, and the US dollar packs a wallop here- you won't beleive the stack of bills you'll get when you change your money at the airport. . .

There really is no other place in the world like Thailand. Yes there is corruption and prostitution and pollution, but there are also many more wonderful things. Think of the natural beauty of Thailand, the sparkling white beaches and crystal clear waters of the Andaman sea. Think of the hundreds of nature parks and waterfalls all over the country. Think of the people who are the most generous and friendly that I've ever met. Think of the relaxed attitude you find wherever you go. Think about the cheap shopping and the wonderful food from pad thai to laab gai to kao moo dang...makes my mouth water just typing it. Yep, there is no place on earth I would rather be than Thailand.
