They all share a dazzling cultural heritage and natural beauty as well, though much of the South has been disfigured by over-building and pollution. Given airfares and the high euro, I doubt I will ever get a chance to return, but I would go back in a minute if I could.

 | harlock (9) 06/26/2008 | I doesn't like this country. I love it's culture, I love all art there and I had to study it when I was younger and it's really pretty, but for me Italy isn't a pretty country, and it's culture is not enough to rate it better. The italian part of the "Alpes" is so beautiful, and some parts of the north Italy are a pretty and quiet regions. I only love Toscana region, the nature there is perfect, the weather is perfect (so hot now, but nothing is totally perfect). But if I forget the Toscana and the culture, Italia has nothing for me. About people there, they are good mediterranean people, maybe so hot people, but mediterranean at all.
