12/12/2007 | I know, this rating is subjective, as I lived there for 20+ years from my birthdate. When I left Ukraine, it was still Soviet Union, and since than I have never been back. Anyway, I like it remotely, as it reminds me about my happy childhood.
This is a very nice country with reach history and natural resources. Beautiful women is, unfortunately, one of the highest export lines. The capital is Kiev, about 2,000 old history. Splendid architecture, and still green with parks and gardens. Modern economic and polictical situation is shaky, with no signs of the coming stabilization. With all that, this is a country with great future ahead. It is heaven for tourists, and foreigners are always welcome. Native language - Ukrainian, but you can speak Russian or English, and you will be fine as well.
