This one's a possible life-saver, if it passes the appropriate trials.
Those with the blood type O- has the blessing that they can donate blood to anyone ("universal donors"), but is kinda screwed because they can only
receive blood from someone else who has O- blood. With this new development, the A, B and AB types can be converted to the O type, which would be a great relief. Hope to see this one developed in the near future.
