05/22/2007 | How do you rate this. I don't mind the song, although "Try a Little Tenderness", "Shake", or his brilliant version of Sam Cooke's "A Change is Gonna Come" are way better performances. But it really doesn't strike me as being psychedelic in the least.

05/22/2007 | I'm not really certain what they were thinking with this selection. Of course, it's a brilliant song, but it doesn't qualify as a psychedelic one. It's true that Redding wasn't unaware of groups like The Stones and Beatles, he'd covered both acts, and was allegedly very impressed with the innovations of "Sgt. Pepper's." Still, this is essentially a soul ballad.
