I just wanted to say thank you Sean T. I am a 40 year old woman who was 250 pounds 5 years ago. In the last 5 years i have lost 100 pounds. I lost the weight by learning how to eat properly and now that I have maintained my weight i wanted to start exercising. I do like the way that I look now, however I want to tone. I received hip hop abs recently as a gift and i have been doing it about 3-4 times a week for the last 2 weeks. I find myself excited when it is hip hop ab night and it really fun. I find going to the gym boring and I have a busy work schedule so I like the flexibility of having a workout that is fun and I can do it at home. Once again thank you

I love Hip Hop Abs. I have access to 2 gyms (free of charge) because I am an "Army Wife" but I don't go to the gym anymore and I now look better then I ever have. Hip Hop Abs is addictive, I can't wait to start my day with Sean T and it never gets old. I have been working out for years and this is by far the best workout I have ever had. I love it.

Given I am one of those who never made regular exercising part of my routines and I am still sticking to the HHA everyday or every other day religiously after two months, it definitely has its attraction. As of now, I still can't do all the DVDs yet, particularly the ones that concentrate on the lower half of my body. But the cardio I can normally breeze through it (and still sweat). It's truly a good starter program.

I've been doing Hip Hop Abs level 1 and 2 for over 3 months. And I don't agree that this workout is dangerous for the back. It's very helpful for building up the core muscles that protect the lower back. The key to this workout is you have to constantly tuck your hips under and tighten the stomach. If you don't do this, than movement side to side might tear the back muscles. I would recommend this workout to anyone who loves dance. If you don't understand the rudimentary rules of hip hop dance (i.e: tightening the core at all times) you can get some injuries. But if you do like dance, understand the posture you must adhere to while doing Hip Hop Abs, this is a fantastic workout. The only thing I did notice, is with the constant tucking of the hips, my tailbone aches sometimes. But I work it out through stretching more than Shaun T does. I do recommend stretching more after this workout. Especially concentrating on the hips, thighs, calves, and shoulders.

Before hurting my back w/this work out, this is what I said, "This is a fun work out, and yu really don't feel like you are doing a work out but having fun." The reason I rated it a 2 is b/c I have always been in great, great shape, I am very athletic, I do The Firm, Tae Bo but be very, very careful b/c I hurt my back doing this work out, and I now am on medication and have to go to therapy 2ce a week. My therapist says the reason she is not to excited about hip hop abs is due to the side to side movement you do on your abs, that can hurt your back the way I hurt mine. I am in so much pain now due to the work out,I only wish this did not happen to me b/c it was a lot of fun. I am no longer the same I now have limitations, I do my therapy exercises and now do Tony Little b/c he gives u alternative methods (Tony Little) of doing yor work out if you have back problems. So, please, please be careful w/this work out, I would hate for you guys to be in as much pain as I am. I hope that my back gets better b/c I no longer feel like the healthy athlete person, but a 70 year old woman w/back problems. Thank god I am military b/c TriCare pays for my therapy sessions.

The first two weeks of doing Hip Hop Abs, there was a noticeable difference in my ab area. I trully believe if you stick to this program, eat healthy you will have a great end result. The dance and music is great, which keekps you very motivated. Myself being a dancer really enjoy this type of workout. The only one negative thing I would have to say is on certain moves he does to many reps which makes me stop not because I am getting winded its just to many reps that some people might find after awhile boring. Otherwise I would recommend these videos.
