OK, here is the dreaded bar soap review. Hang in there.

So I'm at Trader Joe's (wife likes to shop there because it's expensive), and I realize we don't have any soap. Trader Joe's has only a tiny bathroom section that is even more relatively expensive than the rest of Trader Joe's. Finger nail scissors (which I passed on) were $25, to give you an idea of scale. (says my wife: "yeah, but they're probably recycled or something.")

All the bar soap was $6 per bar or higher except for the Kiss My Face green tea bar, which was like $3. So I bought that one.

Here are my findings so far.

The pros:

- it smells like green tea. I love that stuff.
- It's huge. The bar is the size of a brick. Presumably it should last a long time.

The cons:

- It's huge. The bar is the size of a brick, making it pretty unwieldy.
- It leaves a nasty, green paste in the soap dish.
- It doesn't rinse off very easily.

Not a bad soap, but I think there are better ones out there.

Buy the olive oil, It is good.
