06/08/2007 | When I first heard this I didn't realize it was Ray Charles until the end of the song. I can't express enough how well these two worked together, and this song really will become one of the immortals.
It is about two lovers tracked down, probably by a posse, and the Seven Spanish Angels take another angel home as each dies. The chorus of the song is outstanding.

06/08/2007 | How do you get better than Ray Charles or Willie Nelson? Ray Charles AND Willie Nelson. Seven Spanish Angels is a great song, it really makes me wish that they would have worked together more often.
