Haven't yet heard "Death Trip" being played, or "Heroin" (can't imagine how that would sound translated into elevator-style Muzak), but I suppose that day is coming soon. I mean, whoever thought the day would come when advertisers would be using Stooges and Ramones songs in TV commercials to sell beer? If you had told me that 30 years ago, I would have laughed right in your face with callow, teenaged contempt. Then again, I suppose if you had told hippies back in 1968 that a wizened Dennis Hopper would someday appear in TV commercials promoting the glories of laissez-faire-style capitalism ("Ya gotta live your dreams, maaaannnn!!!!) for aging Yuppies, their reaction would have been similar.

do not think I am quite ready for that. I do not mind orchestra music if it is more classical. but 100 strings playing some of my favorite tunes still too much just yet.
