Not really. I (and especially my less ambitious friends who took an extremely light course load) probably watched more of the Weather Channel in high school than now. Of course that's because the TV in the library was always on, but unless there was a specific educational purpose, the only channel allowed was the Weather Channel. And the library was the place to go during study hall. It's amazing how entertaining the Weather Channel was when it was the only thing on, and there was homework that you didn't want to do.

Nope.  The only times I see people watch the weather channel is 1) if they're going on vacation, or 2) if there's a severe weather issue going on locally.  Either way, I don't do the Weather Channel; if I want to know what the weather's like, I look out the window.

Only if it happens to be your local weather, and it concerns you, or if you're going to be traveling to that particular location. Otherwise, it's BORING!
