I never really enjoyed cheap wine anyways...now cheap beer, that's another story.

Carlo Rossi burgundy - $5.99 a jug - is better than 90% of the pretentious wines on the shelf.

Wha? I never saw a young drinker swig cheap wine and say it's "pretty good shite". . .it's a reference to another form of entertainment. . .

I remember that you could get a GALLON jug of good California wine for $3.00. Of course, that was 1963.
