wonderful botanicals- great, straight over ice and sip.

This French gin is full of surprises. I was expecting something very smooth, sweet, simple and vodka-like, but was delighted when Citadelle had much more punch and verve. Juniper is present, but not dominant. Citadelle has strong herbal botanicals, which gives it a bite -- not an alcohol bite, but a spicy one. Very interesting and unique. I made martinis with it, but I suspect this gin would make excellent gin and tonics.

Excellent Gin,  Less juniper and more floral.  I thought this was the best, until I tried Martin Miller Gin.

This is an excellent gin that is not available in British Columbia...but should be!! Very flavourful.

I just picked this up at the store because I wanted to try something new after running out of Tanquery, and I am very glad I went for this one. This is a little more spicy and has less citrus than other gins (just slightly), but it is much much smoother. In my usual gin and tonic I can only taste the flavor from this and none of the burn. Excellent gin and my new favorite.
