It does suck.  You have to wait all the way until noon Sunday before you can buy it again.

I've seen similar alcohol laws restricting Sunday sales in at least three other states.  It is dumb, but there are far stupider laws on this list.

So what I have learned is that the law is more restrictive on the purchase of beer than it is on firearms.

Not so much dumb as poorly worded. This one may still be on the books but has been somewhat clarified by a state law. I believe it's no beer sales between 1am and 10:30am on Sunday, though it might be Noon.

Not a bad law ~ in Michigan, you can't buy beer/alcohol until AFTER noon on Sunday.
