My cellular contract was up recently, my phone was dying, and I qualified for one of these for essentially no cost. I figured what the hell, and went for it. I've had it three days now, and I feel like a twelfth-century peasant being given a John Deere tractor. So far I've figured out how to make calls and text, but other than that the damn thing is intimidating the hell out of me. Fortunately, I have tech-loving teenage sons who are providing me tutorials, giving them the opportunity to feel superior to their old man. The little turds. It seems like it does a lot, and does it pretty well. The keyboard is easy to use, and I like the features I've gradually managed to access.

The Curve is a great communication device. I had a previous generation BlackBerry (8703) before this and the Curve is a much better design. E-mail utilizes "push technology" which means that your phone will receive e-mails when they are sent allowing you to respond immediately. The camera is 2 megapixels and is suitable for a phone. BlackBerrys also have BBM (BlackBerry Messaging) which is great when you have a number of friends who own BlackBerrys. Essentially BBM is text messaging without a cost associated with it; you can BBM as much as you want for free to other BlackBerry devices. Finally, with all the applications available for BlackBerrys you really can get done on your phone what you would normally need to go to an office for. With e-mail, SMS and BBM - before you buy one you need to ask yourself, "How accessible do I really want to be?"W

Love this phone. Not for the person who doesn't know much about technology, though. Getting e-mail is really convenient and easy to use. A lot of options and a pretty design.Sometimes it freezes though, which can be annoying.

The Blackberry Curve is a really good phone. I use it as a phone, an mp3 player, and a computer, using it to access my email and the Internet. It can be slow to load applications of web pages at times, but overall the phone is solid.

A superb phone with excellent reception. Now I can send and receive email on the road.Instead of carrying a flash drive, I store all my files on an 8g microsimm card I installed inside the Curve.
