11/22/2002 | Let's get real , the traffic is not only a pain in the behind on race day for local people but two weeks before the race we are pushed around by the vendors and companies all trying to set up stands and promotions.They are just as rude as the drunks flowing from the race track on race day. AND Don't forget the week after the race we have all the jerks still speeding around removing rental equipment,porta john's sloshing all over the roads as the are being removed. Yes race week is not really a week, but a month of total disregard to the families in the area.

11/21/2002 |  p.i.r. is at the least a hinderance to the community in which it exists. the corp. people and it affliiates are only interested in the monetary values that bring to it and the valley EXCLUDING the immediate community of which we see neither monetary value or gratitude for the fact that we are put in inertia for several days because of the hoards of people inadating our small community. quite frankly the fans are exceedingly rude and most are drunk and disconcerned with the fact that they are indeed our guest. but even the maricopa county sherriff's office seems to be disconcerned with the fact they are also a big part of the inconveince making us go out of our way redirecting us,or not allowing a turn to be made in any other dir. then that of which race traffic is flowing . these drunken fans are endangering our community as the sherriffs dept allows these drunken fools to so. 300,000 + fans most of whom are drunk invading your neighborhood would not be appealing to you so why should appeal to us exspecially when there is nothing to show for our troubles.
