Spooky sort of song with good lyrics, and a standard of the era that was covered by Al Kooper/ Steve Stills, Vanilla Fudge and others. One of the greatest Donovan songs, in his career he put out some rubbish but when he hit the mark, the results could be splendid.

Used to great effect in the last scene and closing credits of my favorite Nicole Kidman movie, 'To Die For." The murderous witch does meet her just end and this song is a perfect fit.
