06/29/2007 | Koufax, Drysdale, Al Downing, Podres, Sutton, Bill Singer, Osteen, etc? Sounds pretty great to me. And they kept going in the 70's and early 80's with guys like Sutton, John, Messersmith, Rhoden, Rau, Hooton, Sutcliffe, Valenzuela, Welch, Hershiser etc. Another team like Baltimore that knew what it was doing as far as pitching went.
